Not all the team members were geeks; some were business students. The idea was to find three people who could find harmony together and focus on the idea of a quick deliverable.
One lesson that emerged: speed trumps perfection. Or, as we ordinary folks know it: best is the enemy of 'good enough'. Speed opens opportunity quickly for feedback, and high bandwidth feedback then allows for quick reaction and quick correction.
Anyway, it's an interesting read with other insights for successful innovation.
